Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions (MPMI) publishes peer-reviewed fundamental and advanced applied re?search on the genetics, genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics of pathological, symbiotic, and associative interactions of microbes, insects, nematodes, or parasitic plants with plants.ScopeResearch should be directed at understanding the molecular mechanisms of plant interactions with other organisms rather than merely describing such interactions. Research to be published in MPMI must be novel and not simply repeat results already obtained in other systems.
