期刊简介：Folia Geobotanica covers the broad topics of plant ecology, vegetation science and plant systematics, focusing primarily on plant species in a structured environment. In the area of plant ecology, Folia Geobotanica publishes papers that deal with population and community ecology, in particular when linked with environment response. The journal welcomes significant papers presenting new and original data of more than regional significance. The journal is published quarterly and one volume usually consists of four issues. There is no page charge except of colour pages and other extras.Certain papers are rejected because they do not fit within the aims and scopes characterised above. 期刊简介：original papers, short communications and critical reviews from all fields of science and engineering related to soil and water and their interactions in natural and man-modified landscapes, with a particular focus on agricultural land use. The fields encompassed include, but are not limited to, the basic and applied soil science, soil hydrology, irrigation and drainage of lands, hydrology, management and revitalisation of small water streams and small water reservoirs, including fishponds, soil erosion research and control, drought and flood control, wetland restoration and protection, surface and ground water protection in therms of their quantity and quality, good agricultural practices, land consolidation and other measures for improving and protecting soils and all other elements of the environment in small agricultural and forested catchments. Socio-economic issues are not excluded. The journal is open to authors from all parts of the world irrespective of their professional background and affiliation. Papers are published in English.

期刊简介：The European Journal of Entomology was founded in 1904 as a periodical of the Czech Entomological Society (under the title Acta Societatis Entomologicae Bohemiae). Since then it has made a long and varied way, including several title changes, from its beginnings as a local publication, with articles mainly in Czech, to its status today as a fairly well-established international entomological forum covered in the most important abstracting and indexing services.This would be quite inconceivable without the help of our many collaborators. We are much indebted to all those who have been helpful in so many ways, especially in reviewing papers. Our thanks are due to the members of the Editorial Board, past and present, but also to numerous scientists with no particular connection to our journal, who nevertheless responded readily to our request to review a paper.We would also like to make an open invitation to all potential contributors. We do our best to process submissions promptly, and to evaluate them strictly but fairly. There are no restrictions regarding the subject, author, geographic region, and so on, of any submission. All which fall within the broadest bounds of the field entomology (including Myriapoda, Chelicerata, and terrestrial Crustacea) are appropriate. Nevertheless, we prefer comprehensive analytic papers in which the insect is the main object of interest, not merely a testing tool. In 2016, EJE became an electronic-only Open Access journal with all papers (including all previous volumes) freely available online.The heteropteran Pyrrhocoris apterus, our cover insect, was introduced as a model species by European entomologists. It has now become a link between quite diverse entomological disciplines, and has played a part in some events of worldwide significance (beginning with the discovery of the juvenile hormone analogs). We believe that as such it is a faithful symbol of the European Journal of Entomology.
